Your Black Hills Journey
Five days of iconic sights, authentic Western experiences, and zero logistical stress.
Welcome to Rapid City
Your adventure begins at San Antonio International (8:53 AM departure), arriving in Rapid City by 12:24 PM. After baggage claim your chartered coach delivers you to the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The evening opens with a welcome dinner at Tally's Silver Spoon — a Rapid City favorite — where you'll meet your fellow travelers and raise a glass to the journey ahead.
Historic Railways & Hill City
After a hotel breakfast, visit Reptile Gardens — one of the region's most uniquely wonderful attractions. Then step back in time aboard the 1880 Train, winding through the pine-draped Black Hills to Hill City. Spend a leisurely afternoon exploring its galleries and boutiques before a group dinner at the beloved Alpine Inn, renowned for its classic European menu.
Legends of the Old West
Step into living history in Deadwood — the frontier boom town where Wild Bill Hickok met his fate. Tour the elegant Adams House Museum, visit the Days of 76 Museum, and pay respects at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The afternoon brings a scenic drive through Spearfish Canyon with a stop at cascading Roughlock Falls. A relaxed dinner at the Powder House Lodge rounds out this unforgettable day.
The Big Day — Icons of the West
Set the alarm — this is the day you'll talk about for years. An early all-you-can-eat Cowboy Breakfast at the Fort Hays "Dances with Wolves" film set fuels you for the Buffalo Round Up — nearly 1,400 bison thundering across the prairie. After lunch at the Buffalo Corrals, the afternoon brings the crown jewels: Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. The evening closes with a festive Chuckwagon Dinner and live cowboy music show under the stars.
Farewell to the Black Hills
After an early departure from the hotel (5:15 AM), your chartered coach delivers you to Rapid City Regional Airport for your return flight to San Antonio. You'll head home with a camera full of memories — and very likely a wish to come back.
