Smart Traveler is an app sponsored by the US Department of State that makes available information about countries, travel warnings, embassy locations and maps. Through the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, travelers can check in with the US embassy of the countries they are traveling to all within the app. Enrolling enables the Department of State to assist you in the event of emergencies, such as natural disasters.
